“Pretty girl stay golden”, New Yorker Bishop Nehru croons on his verse in the remix of Little Dragon’s “Pretty Girls”. The track is chill and ethereal, but also a little bit dancey. Nehru’s smooth rhythm and slow, confident lyricism mesh well with the Swedish artist’s soulful sound. It makes sense that Nehru would give shouts to all the pretty girls out there—his ‘#Nehruvian Queens’.
It’s been a little while since we’ve had some new music from Nehru. We last heard from him on his collaboration with MF Doom, NEHRUVIANDOOM. It was reported back in October that the rapper from Rockland County is working with Nas on an album that fans can expect in 2015.
